MY FATHER'S WORLD

On March 27th 2026 Jo Beth will release her short film 'My Father's World'. Filmed over 6 years in the UK and Ireland, this short film is a poetic journey through nature and faith as shared by her father Bill Young. Jo Beth improvised the soundtrack in her parents living room and in the woodlands of Firle where much of the film is set. 

The FREE Film Launch is available to attend to anyone who would like to celebrate the completion of this cherished project. 

A digital release date and soundtrack release date will be announced soon.

YATES & YOUNG

Jo Beth was honoured to create music with long term collaborater and genius guitarist/musician Peter Yates (Fields Of The Nephillim). From original Gothic rock opera to reimagined songs of Bowie or The Carpenters.. you can find their EP Splinters and more songs over at Peter's Bandcamp Page HERE

NIGHTSONG

Folk trio NIGHTSONG was a collaboration between folk musician and writer John Reed, Producer and Musician Ali Karim and Jo Beth. In 2021 they released the album The Peasant's Revolt where historical and archaeological stories of the UK's common folk were brought to life in music. 

Though all three of them are busy with other projects, they do hope to regroup one day to make more music together.

TALITHA RISE

Jo Beth was one half of progressive folk duo "Talitha Rise" with Martyn Barker (Shriekback|Robert Plant|Goldfrapp) between 2013 and 2018. Signed to BMG and Sonic Bond Records they produced two Albums to critical acclaim and toured live in the UK and Ireland. 

Their award winning full album 'An Abandoned Orchid House' and Mini Album 'BLUE' featured guest appearances from artists including Juldeh Camera (Robert Plant) Mike Rowe (Sheryl Crow) Arnulf Linder (KT Tunstall) Chris Difford (Squeeze).
